RELEX will be choosing the best Supply Chain Master’s Thesis in Europe 2014, rewarding a top-level supply chain, CPFR or S&OP thesis with a focus on retail planning with a RELEX Supply Chain Award.

Are you a recently graduated supply chain specialist or finalising your Master’s Thesis with a focus on retail planning?

Send us your work, we will be rewarding the winner with an award and EUR 2.000. Additionally, the winner will receive an invitation to attend RELEX Supply Chain Seminar 2015 in Helsinki to present the victorious work there.

The jury choosing the award-winning work include TU Dortmund University Professor Michael Henke, Cranfield School of Management Professor Richard Wilding, Aalto University Professor Jan Holmström, RELEX Director Andrew Blatherwick, and leading RELEX logistics and supply chain scientists.

How to apply?

The competition is open to anyone who has submitted a S&OP/Supply Chain related Master’s Thesis in a European University during the year 2014.

To apply, please send your thesis and a summary of 1.000 words in English to RELEX (

The application deadline is December 8th, 2014.

All participating theses should be written in English, German, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish.

RELEX will contact the winner personally in early January with an invitation to Helsinki to present the work at RELEX seminar on January 21st.
