ABOUT THE ROLE
The Account Development Representative (ADR) will drive growth by working closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Account Executives (AEs) to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities. This role focuses on strategically engaging with various buying centres within customer organizations to expand deal scope and foster strong, long-term relationships.
What you’ll be doing:
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Partner with CSMs to identify cross-selling opportunities across existing accounts and ensure comprehensive solutions that meet evolving customer needs.
- Support AEs in expanding deals by uncovering upsell opportunities and broadening project scope to maximize the value delivered.
- Contribute to strategic account planning, aligning on growth objectives and identifying targeted approaches for account development.
Strategic Account Development:
- Engage with various buying centres within customer organizations to establish relationships and identify new areas for collaboration.
- Maintain and strengthen connections with key stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of their business challenges and goals.
- Position RELEX as a trusted partner by showcasing how our solutions can solve customers’ problems and deliver measurable business outcomes.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Fluency in English and German with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to communicate with Senior Executives at prospect accounts.
- Strong aptitude for collaborating with diverse teams and departments.
- Can demonstrate tenacity in the face of rejection.
- Eagerness to learn something new every day and a strong can-do attitude.
We also expect that you spend Monday to Thursday in the office (except for Fridays, which are a work-from-home day), as we consider the learning that happens on account of proximity with experienced colleagues an important part of your professional development.
What we consider as an advantage:
- Understanding of retail’s core processes (supply chain, merchandising, and store operations).
- Experience with Salesforce and Salesloft.
