The UK Customer Operations team in the UK is growing its Price & Promotions capability and we’re looking for a Solution Consultant to join the team. Main responsibilities will be to deliver software implementation projects, through all the phases of a project lifecycle, in the fields of pricing, promotion planning, and management.
A Solution Consultant is expected to master the customer-specific configurations needed to solve customer challenges and equip them with the most optimized system possible. While we have the technological edge to process large retail datasets and deliver large-scale forecasts and optimization, the true value for our retailers is unlocked by giving them guidance to solve specific business cases with our insights.
Your role as a Solution Consultant would be to provide personalized analytical and product related knowledge for new UK customers, to ensure that our platform’s capabilities are utilized. Your experience in process design, analytics, and problem-solving will directly translate into value for our customers.

Join us as a Solution Consultant in our UK office, and this is some of what you’ll be doing:
- Support the design and specification of integration solutions between the RELEX platform and customers’ existing software ecosystem
- Configure the Price & Promotions platform for customer-specific needs
- Optimize forecast & attribution model parameters
- Implement customer-specific business logic in code (SQL, Go, Python)
- Run and build analytical queries on large datasets to help customers with custom insights
- Work closely with the product and engineering team to scope new development work and represent the customer needs
- Hands-on consulting and product expertise for our new retail customers on campaign evaluation, forecasting, optimization, and automation
We are looking for:
- Strong proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Agile mindset and ability to adjust to a changing environment
- Capability to interact confidently with customer teams
- Ability to independently drive progress with a holistic mindset
- A team player enjoying working with people from different backgrounds
- Curious about pricing and promotions management systems from business and IT perspectives
- Ability to map customer requirements and translate those into software configuration
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Comfortable with occasional travel across Europe and potentially globally
What we consider as an advantage:
- M.Sc. or higher in engineering, statistics, or economics
- Have experience working as an Implementation Specialist, Business Consultant, or similar (preferably in or towards the retail space)
- Consider yourself structured and analytical
- Are always service-minded with an ability to solve real and complex problems
- Ability to gather requirements, carry out process design, training, and user testing support
- Familiarity with large sets of data and the ability to parse through to find essential information
- Experience in technical systems, software, or coding (e.g. SAP, Oracle, SQL, Python, VBA)
