Role overview:

The RELEX team is growing and now looking for a Testing Lead whose main responsibilities would include to
shape, lead, and deliver the testing components of our customer projects. You will need to be able to work as
a key part of the project team to shape the test approach, write the test strategy, as well as drive the delivery
plan for the testing elements of the project.

What you’ll be doing:

• You will be responsible for (but not limited to) delivering a test strategy (covering all test
requirements including non-functional), phase test plans, a project automation strategy, a test
environment strategy, provide regular status reporting, scope and estimates for project interval
planning, test exit reports and defect management.
• Contributing across the complete test cycle of software development from requirements testing to
user acceptance and release testing.
• Analysis of requirements, user stories, solution designs and project documentation to perform static
testing and provide input into project team members.
• The design and production of test scenarios and cases, collaborating with business analyst and
development teams to test new and amended software and their effect on existing systems using
best practice testing techniques in-line with the defined test strategy.
• Design, development, and execution of reusable and maintainable scripts using available testing tools
in line with defined testing frameworks and applicable best practices.
• Find, investigate, validate, and report defects appropriately
• Prepare and publish test progress and product quality reports on a regular basis.
• Contribute to continual improvement processes within the QA, Test & Release function.
• Contribute to capture of KPIs to measure ongoing effectiveness of strategies and processes

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters degree or relevant experience in the field of Software, Information Systems or
Computer Engineering.
• Experienced at working with blended teams of personnel including permanent and 3rd party partner
personnel and customers.
• Proficient in testing techniques used to plan and execute software tests of all application components
(functional and non-functional) to verify that the software satisfies specified. E.g., dynamic testing
techniques or static testing techniques.
• Proficient in principles, methods, techniques, and tools for the effective management of the testing
process and the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects. E.g.,
configuration management or incident management.
• Experience of a range of IT infrastructures with the awareness of how these affect test strategies and
where risk and focus should be anticipated.
• Awareness of software tools which automate or assist any part of the testing process, including the
test management process, the execution of the tests and the comparison of actual outcomes to
predicted outcomes.
• Strong time management and prioritisation of tasks.
• Strong risk analysis and risk management plans – being able to look ahead mitigating risk.

• Expert leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of application monitoring and distributed system architecture
• Supply Chain and Business Analytics Industry knowledge OR Category Management industry
knowledge OR previous experience with a grocery / CPG / FMCG retailer or supplier.
