The Swiss company Fennobiz GmbH and RELEX Oy of Finland have signed a representation agreement, bringing the high-impact supply chain optimisation solution of RELEX to the Swiss retail business. RELEX has become the fastest-growing supply-chain software company in Europe, delivering a solution that is flexible on every level, is rapid to implement and has delivered substantial savings to a number of European retailers and wholesalers.
The RELEX solutions are targeted to Tier 1 and 2 companies in the retail business – groceries, consumer electronics, fashion and clothing, home & garden, DIY and builders merchants and specialty retail. Key applications include automatic replenishment ordering, demand forecasting, inventory optimization and reporting.
RELEX customers have been able to gain significant benefits from the solution: shelf availability approaching 100%, reduction of fresh produce spoilage by up to 50% and inventory cuts by 30% while at the same time increasing shelf availability.

A pre-study of the customer’s current level of optimisation can be performed as a first step to understand the measurable benefits that can be expected from using the solution. After that the application can then be taken into use very quickly – it typically takes about three months only to implement and no software code development is required. The system is easy to use and available either as Software as a Service (SaaS) or a license to run the software on the customer’s own servers. The solution, which can be delivered in German and English language versions uses data from the customer’s existing ERP system.
