Europe’s fastest growing provider of supply chain solutions, RELEX, opens their fifth international office
RELEX, the Helsinki based inventory planning and demand forecasting specialists, has launched another subsidiary and opened an office in Oslo as part of efforts to win more Norwegian subscribers to its ground-breaking technology.
Michael Falck, who co-founded RELEX in 2005 with Mikko Kärkkäinen and Johanna Småros, will be leading the new Norwegian team and says it reflects the importance RELEX gives to the market.
“We already have several Norwegian success stories we can point to,” Falck says. “We think there’s enormous potential to help more Norwegian firms plan better, sell more and waste less. By opening the Oslo office RELEX underlines our agility and commitment to our customers; we want to be close to the local market.”
Falck will be joined in Oslo by Fred Graham who takes on the role of Senior Advisor on the Norwegian market. Graham has an extensive local and international retail and supply chain operations CV. He has worked with a wide range of retailers and industries including FMCG/CPG branded goods, food, general merchandise, electronics, pharmacy and agricultural supplies.
“I have learned to know RELEX as a very agile and professional team with an impressive and proven track record of delivering business value to their customers within the right time and budget. This mindset is what I value in a software business solution provider and that’s why I really look forward to being part of the RELEX team”, says Graham.
“RELEX’s software as a service (SaaS) approach is also very appealing as it allows clients to get business value quickly and without the traditional risks involved in major IT projects. So my aim is to ensure that, just as it’s already the industry standard in Finland, any Norwegian business looking for planning and forecasting considers RELEX as the default option.”
