With several awards ceremonies lined up, RELEX has an exciting few months ahead!
RELEX is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted in the Technology Project of the Year and Technology Team of the Year categories at the 2016 Retail Systems Awards. Celebrating excellence and innovation in the retail sector, the award ceremony is to be held in London on 3rd November. Entered jointly with its customer Europris, Norway’s largest discount variety retailer, this award recognizes how Europris has transformed its supply chain using RELEX. Inventory has been cut by more than 17% and availability has risen, with significant savings made in both time and capital. If RELEX wins, the award would follow its success at the same awards ceremony in 2015, which saw RELEX and Booths win the Supply Chain Solution of the Year.
The Retail Systems awards evening will be closely followed by the Logistics & Supply Chain’s Supply Chain Excellence Awards on 14th November in London. Again, both RELEX and Europris have been shortlisted, and this time in the 3 categories “Retail and E-tail”, “Demand Forecasting & Planning”, and “Supply Chain Visibility”.
As a company that’s constantly on the lookout for the very best and brightest problem solvers, it’s not surprising that it’s not just RELEX as a whole that is under the awards spotlight this year.
RELEX is focusing on hiring the best, smartest and most skilled people with a high level of education, which results in many talented people within the company. Helene Solvang, a RELEX Supply Chain Consultant has been awarded the MSc Logistics Dissertation of the Year award by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). Due to collect her award at the Logistics Research Network Conference Dinner on 8th September, this is a true reflection on the hard work Helene put into her dissertation at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
We work very closely with our customers, and to have our joint projects acknowledged by industry leaders such as Retail Systems and Logistics & Supply Chain is a great achievement for everyone involved.
Mikko Kärkkäinen, CEO, RELEX comments: “We are extremely proud of what our individual employees, as well as our team as a whole, are achieving. We work very closely with our customers, and to have our joint projects acknowledged by industry leaders such as Retail Systems and Logistics & Supply Chain is a great achievement for everyone involved.”
Could we be seeing another hat-trick win for RELEX by the end of the year? Stay tuned for further announcements!
