RELEX invites all RELEX users to take part in our series of training webinars to learn more about advanced forecasting methods for different scenarios.
The three events will be held on Wednesday April 9th, Wednesday April 23rd, and Wednesday May 14th at 13.00 (London) / 14.00 (Stockholm/Berlin) / 15.00 (Helsinki) hours.
As the sessions are organised as webinars you can take part from home, your desk or a meeting room (with colleagues). The event will be hosted by Mikko Minkkinen and Jukka Uskonen, two very experienced supply chain systems and management experts, and will be conducted in English. Each is scheduled to last for one hour.
We’d urge you to take part in all three if possible. They will all be accessible and relevant to all existing and prospective RELEX superusers.
Provisionally the main themes for the webinars will be:
April 9th : DEMAND FORECASTING IN RELEX
- Demand forecasting as part of the S&OP process
- Qualitative forecasting vs. quantitative forecasting
April 23rd : STATISTICAL FORECASTING MODELS IN RELEX
- Most common time-series forecast models
May 14th : RELEX – BEST PRACTICE IN DEMAND FORECASTING
- Best practice in defining forecast models and parameters
- Sales corrections and their impact on statistical forecasting
- General guidelines for qualitative forecasting
However participants are also invited to send in broad topics and specific questions ahead of time so that we can do our best to make sure these are addressed during the appropriate session. We will adjust the agenda for each webinar accordingly.
Our aim is to help RELEX superusers to develop an in-depth understanding of the challenges involved in successful forecasting. We will also explain how RELEX systems can be deployed to best effect in a wide range of forecasting situations.
We would be grateful if you could let us know by Wednesday April 2nd by sending us mail to firstname.lastname@example.org that you hope to take part so that we can best tailor the session to your needs.
