About the Role: 

The Business/Data Analyst at RELEX is a pivotal support role that enhances the presales team’s effectiveness throughout the sales cycle. You will work directly with Presales Solution Principals and the broader Presales team across North America and LATAM, providing the analytical foundation and technical expertise that drives successful customer engagements. This position integrates data analysis, technical configuration support, demonstration building, and customer engagement, serving as a developmental stepping stone to presales consulting, product management, or operations growth roles.

Position Details:
 

Location: Remote (North America) or RELEX HQ in Atlanta, Georgia 

Team: Presales North America and LATAM (collaborating with Central Presales Analytics) 

Travel: Less than 5-10% across North America and LATAM 

Compensation: Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives

Learning & Support: We provide extensive training on RELEX solutions, AI/ML fundamentals, and presales methodologies. You’ll have mentorship from experienced Solution Principals and continuous learning opportunities. 

The Interview Process:

This Business/Data Analyst role serves as a foundation for multiple career trajectories within RELEX. Most analysts spend 18-24 months building expertise before progressing to: 

→ Presales Solution Principal – Lead customer discovery sessions, workshops, and demonstrations as the primary technical and strategic advisor 

→ Product – Shape product strategy and roadmaps using deep customer insight 

→ Customer Operations/Implementations – Lead customer implementations and drive measurable business outcomes 

→ Sales or Account Management – Transition into direct customer-facing sales or strategic account roles

Evaluation Criteria for Candidates

  1. Communication & Presentation Skills (18%) – Clear communication across technical and business audiences; ability to simplify complex concepts

  1. Customer Engagement & Collaboration (15%) – Comfort in customer-facing situations and collaborative cross-functional work 
  1. Learning Agility & Adaptability (14%) – Ability to rapidly master new domains, tools, and technologies; growth mindset and intellectual curiosity 

Pass Threshold: Candidates must score 3 or higher (on a 1-5 scale) on ALL must-have criteria with a weighted average ≥ 3.0
