In response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Compute Site Reliability Engineering team in Helsinki, Finland. This role is specifically aimed at recent graduates and individuals at the start of their career.
What we need you to do and be

You will work with a highly skilled international team of professionals responsible for our compute platform, private cloud data centers, compute hosts, operating systems, and automation, helping ensure our data centers operate efficiently and securely as our server fleet continues to grow.
You will support the team by taking on day-to-day operational work and routine tasks, allowing senior team members to focus more on development and project work, while you learn our existing systems and ways of working.
You will contribute to continuous improvements over time by gradually moving from operational work into development, automation, and process improvements as your knowledge grows with mentoring and support from senior engineers throughout your journey.
What you’ll bring to the table

- Experience in Linux (any distribution is fine — for example Ubuntu, Fedora, CentOS, or RHEL) and a genuine interest in how systems work under the hood
- Ability to learn new tools and practices on the job (for example Ansible, Terraform, or Python) and a willingness to start with operational tasks
- Skills in basic scripting or configuration work (for example shell scripting, Python, and/or YAML) and an interest in automation and reliability
- Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- As a bonus, we consider the experience of working with an international team, plus great communication and organizational skills
