We’re looking for a People Operations Manager to join our team in Helsinki. In this role, you’ll take ownership of HR Operations in Finland and ensure we offer high-quality, compliant, and people-centric support to RELEXians and team leads alike. You’ll be part of our global People Operations team, with 15+ professionals across Europe and APAC, working closely with colleagues in the Nordics and the broader People team. This role is not a team lead role and reports to the Head of People Operations, Nordics.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as the main point of contact for employment relations and CBA matters and work together with the Finnish employee council
- Coach and support team leads with people topics including performance management and workplace wellbeing
- Independently handle complex employee relations cases
- Develop and maintain policies, contracts, and documentation
- Maintain high-quality HR data and support HR system (Sympa, later on Workday) development and adoption
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle in Finland, from onboarding to offboarding
- Provide direction and support to People Operations Specialists
- Contribute to regional initiatives in collaboration with the Nordics team
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in Finnish HR operations and employment relations
- Knowledge of Finnish labor law and collective bargaining agreements
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills, especially with senior leaders
- Experience in policy development and handling sensitive people cases
- Understanding of payroll processes and benefits administration
- Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluency in both Finnish and English (written and spoken)
