Pricing & Promotions at RELEX
We design and develop tools that transform how businesses manage Pricing and Promotions, helping them make data-driven decisions with confidence. Our Pricing and Promotions applications are built cloud-native on Google Cloud Platform, combining robust Golang backend services with a seamless and intuitive Typescript/React front-end experience. Behind the scenes, our data platform processes millions of rows of raw customer data using Golang workflows orchestrated by Cadence/Temporal. With hybrid data layers powered by ClickHouse and Postgres, we deliver analytics and forecasts that balance pre-calculation and real-time responsiveness. This ensures that insights are not just fast but also meaningful—helping customers plan smarter and execute better. We create solutions that are not only scalable and reliable but also designed with users in mind, offering a platform that’s intuitive and adaptable to complex business needs. About the position:
As Product Owner at Relex Pricing & Promotions you will be a key player in managing the long- and short-term road map of our Price Optimization team, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to arrive at the best solution for the clients and our tech teams. Forecasting and other forms of quantitative analysis is a core part of our product and value proposition. Therefore, enabling our pricing eams to move quickly and heading in the most impactful direction will be the key to success in this role. You will report to our Head of Product – Pricing.
Common tasks & responsibilities will involve:
- Maintain the long term road map
- Be visionary about the future of the solution
- Participate in technical and architectural discussions
- Conduct customer discovery and user research
- Prepare and prioritize tasks for the team
- Document, communicate and demonstrate features and solutions for stakeholders
- Facilitate agile ceremonies
- Own the product backlog
- Synchronization on all above with other Product Owners
- Assist our operations and sales team in answering questions about the product and the roadmap
Qualifications:
- Experience with agile software development as a Product Owner/Manager
- Experience from B2B, data heavy apps is a big plus
- Experience in crafting clear product requirements based on research, data and insights
- Proven experience translating customer insights and market research into actionable product requirements
- Experience in SaaS, Enterprise Software or Retail & Pricing domain is advantageous
- Highly collaborative and you enjoy working in cross-functional teams
- You’re good at building relationships and can communicate complex concepts on different levels depending on your audience
- Fluent in English, additional European languages is a plus
As a Senior Product Owner, we also expect you to focus on outcomes, communicate clearly, and take the time to understand the problem before defining solutions. You’ll guide the team with clarity, remove blockers, and align priorities with both business goals and user needs. Your role includes making informed trade-offs, translating technical input for non-technical stakeholders, navigate ambiguity and driving product decisions to resolution. You’ll help onboard new team members, give feedback that moves things forward, and keep the team focused at all times.
