The Role
We’re looking for a Senior HRIS Specialist to join our growing HRIS team of currently two HRIS professionals. This is a unique opportunity to take part in the implementation of Workday at RELEX, help build our future HR tech landscape, and ensure our systems empower our people and processes globally.
Our People team has 50+ professionals located around the world, with most based in Helsinki, and we have RELEXians in 15+ countries. We are currently transitioning from Sympa to Workday, with go-live set for end of 2025.
In this role, you’ll act as a key technical expert in Workday, supporting configuration, reporting and user enablement. To share a bit more around Workday, we will have the following modules: HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Absences and Time Tracking.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as a Workday expert and co-lead the system implementation project with the HRIS team
- Help train and support users pre- and post-implementation
- Configure and maintain Workday modules (e.g. HCM, Absence, Compensation, Reporting)
- Perform data validations, system testing, and provide troubleshooting support
- Collaborate across People and IT teams to ensure alignment and impact
- Identify opportunities for system and process improvements
- Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards using Workday tools
- Actively collaborate with our implementation partner and Workday to support implementation, and system optimization, and later on collaborate with our AMS partner.
What you’ll bring
- Hands-on experience with Workday, including Core HCM and at least 1-2 other modules (e.g. Absence, Time-Tracking, Talent, Advanced Compensation)
- Experience in HRIS implementation and/or system optimization projects
- Analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy and process integrity
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization projects is a plus.
- Prior experience working in an international, high-growth company is a plus
