VP of Product, Unified Planning
Apply nowWe’re looking for a strategic and systems-thinking VP of Product, Unified Planning to our team in the United States to help shape the future of our growing product portfolio at RELEX. Reporting directly to our Chief Product Officer, you’ll be instrumental in creating a cohesive and seamless customer experience by driving alignment across product areas and unlocking greater cross-product value.
This role is central to enabling stronger synergies across our platform and setting the stage for scalable, high-impact innovation, particularly through AI, data products, and orchestration capabilities. Rather than owning individual product roadmaps, you’ll lead through influence and collaboration, partnering closely with product leaders, sales, customer success, and technology teams. You’ll define and champion a clear, compelling narrative that connects our suite of solutions into a unified story. It’s a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, product, and customer value – laying the foundation for the next phase of RELEX’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Unified Vision & Strategy:
- Define and continuously refine the Unified Planning roadmap, focusing on portfolio cohesion, orchestration across products, and new layers of customer value.
- Develop strategic answers to complex cross-product questions (e.g., two-forecast problem, merchandising story, assortment integration).
- Lead the development and upkeep of the Unified Demo - evolving it from a sales tool into a real-world testbed and insight generator.
Customer & Market Alignment:
- Build a compelling narrative and product strategy for Category Management teams, especially in the US, leveraging our data depth and planning capabilities.
- Shape the “unified suite” pitch for upselling and expanding deals – ensuring every product we offer feels stronger when used with others.
Collaboration & Orchestration:
- Partner with leaders across Product, Tech, Sales, Services, and Marketing to align investments and messaging.
- Drive simplification of customer setup, data onboarding, and customer communication processes across the portfolio.
- Co-lead (with Tech) the strategy around unified data products and AI agents, ensuring orchestration capabilities are deeply connected with customer outcomes.
Execution Through Influence:
- Prioritize efforts that accelerate product stickiness, upsell potential, and reduce implementation costs – without owning execution directly.
- Surface and structure trade-offs and investment areas where unified thinking brings the most value, from UI/UX alignment to GenAI integration.
What Success Looks Like (KPIs):
- Upsell Efficiency: Increase rate of attach for complementary products (e.g., Promo + Assortment).
- Deal Expansion: Improve deal sizes through coherent multi-product narratives.
- Product Stickiness: Drive down customer product churn by enhancing portfolio interconnectedness.
- Implementation Cost Reduction: Cut onboarding complexity by aligning product behaviors and shared infrastructure.
You Bring:
- 10+ years in product leadership, ideally in B2B SaaS with complex product suites and cross-functional orchestration.
- Strong strategic thinking – able to navigate ambiguity, drive consensus, and prioritize systemic improvements over one-off fixes.
- Excellent influencing skills -comfortable working without direct authority and getting things done through collaboration.
- Experience working across multiple domains like forecasting, planning, merchandising, or AI/data-driven products.
- Comfort with both technical discussions and executive storytelling – you can design a roadmap and explain its business impact to the C-suite.
- Bonus: Experience in retail technology, supply chain software, or portfolio-level product architecture.
