flaschenpost, one of Germany’s leading instant delivery services for groceries and beverages, is expanding its use of RELEX Solutions to future-proof its business in a dynamic competitive environment. Building on the success of AI-powered forecasting and replenishment, flaschenpost will now implement advanced pricing and promotion solutions that enable greater price competitiveness, more relevant promotions, and profitable growth. The project will be carried out in collaboration with RELEX partner Wysupp.

Since its founding in 2016, flaschenpost has grown into one of Germany’s leading online supermarkets. With its promise to deliver fresh groceries and beverages within 120 minutes, the company now reaches more than 40 percent of German households and manages around 5,000 SKUs per warehouse. Following the successful rollout of RELEX’s forecasting and replenishment solutions across its more than 30 distribution centers in Germany, flaschenpost has already achieved measurable improvements, including:
- Reduced inventory without compromising availability
- Optimized management of fresh products and more targeted demand planning in line with its “Zero Waste” strategy
- Smoother delivery processes and greater reliability during demand peaks
These results have already boosted operational efficiency. With AI-powered planning, flaschenpost reduced its out-of-stock rate by more than four percentage points over the past eight weeks, reaching an availability level of around 97%. The next step will be to extend its collaboration with RELEX to pricing and promotions. With this module, flaschenpost gains a data-driven foundation for faster, more precise pricing decisions and impactful promotions.
