Tuomas Viitanen is a Lead Data Scientist at RELEX Solutions, where he has worked for over nine years. He holds a doctoral degree in Engineering Physics and specializes in data science, machine learning and optimization applications for supply chain and retail planning. Before joining RELEX, he spent six years as a research scientist at the Nordics' leading research and technology company VTT, working on Monte Carlo simulation methods in fission reactor modeling.
