About the position:

We are looking for a Manager of Solution Consulting in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) based in Melbourne. You’ll lead a team of Solution Consultants within the ANZ Customer Operations team. As part of your role, you will work closely with other Team Leads and Senior representatives in Customer Operations to refine and evolve our implementation best practices and Solution Consultant disciplines. You will collaborate with the Solution Consultant guild, central teams, and other Team Leads to ensure we are leveraging all our best practices and working closely with other markets.

You’ll be responsible for the local ANZ resourcing for Solution Consultant people in projects. The Solution Consulting Manager activities will take 50-60% of your time and the remainder of your time will be spent overseeing solution consulting within customer projects. With the team, you will help the customers to achieve their business objectives by getting the best from the RELEX solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

The RELEX software platform utilizes a front-end configuration process to build a unique solution for every customer. Solution Consultants are expected to master that configuration to solve all customer challenges and equip them with the most optimized system possible.

As the team’s leader you will need to prepared to ‘roll your sleeves up’ to fully understand the solutions delivery so you can provide guidance and direction to the team during implementations. Your responsibilities will include:

Practice Leadership

  • You will be responsible for leading and developing a dynamic team of software Solution and Business Consultants
  • Support the continued development of our Partner delivery strategy through structured training coordinated with our Partner’s and the Partner Success team.
  • Work closely with internal leadership and functional heads to continually improve the overall standard of the Business & Solution Consultants in ANZ.
  • Build strong customer relationships

Project Resourcing

  • Resourcing accurate and timely resource scheduling for projects
  • Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are following best practice, and meeting deadlines
  • Manage team utilization, aligned to set targets and proactively through strategic planning and problem solving
  • Assist with scoping and implementation planning in sales cases when necessary

Functional Management

  • Collaborate with the global Business & Solution Consulting Tribe and support global initiatives such as the implementation approach for Supply Chain, and Space & Assortment software
  • Develop a continuous improvement approach towards all processes and drive best practices across the delivery.
  • Work with the Product team to identify potential product development opportunities to improve our market offering.
  • Challenge and develop implementation and solution best practice for different industries (i.e. Grocery, DIY, Home Goods, Manufacturing in consumer packaged goods etc.).

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Degree qualified in areas of computer science, engineering, business or statistics
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience managing the delivery of supply chain or retail software solutions and processes
  • Experience in management consulting, forecast analysis, supply chain planning, software configuration and implementation or other relevant area in manufacturing / consulting industry
  • Experience managing high performance teams, increasing team productivity
  • Experience delivering best practice supply chain or retail solutions
  • Strong Consultant discipline: Task Management, Time Management, Industry Best Practice, Facilitation and Training skills
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on all organizational levels
  • Great interpersonal, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

What we consider a strong plus:

  • Knowledge and ability one or more programming and query language (e.g. SQL, Excel Macros, etc.)
