JYSK, a global home furnishing retailer and the third-largest retailer in Europe, is expanding their collaboration with RELEX Solutions. Building on the success of the distribution center (DC) forecasting implementation in 2022, JYSK will now roll out RELEX forecasting and replenishment and RELEX Diagnostics across 4,000 stores and 12 DCs in 50 countries.

JYSK has bult a strong international presence since their founding, offering customers an extensive range of home goods, furniture and interior decor at competitive prices across Europe. As JYSK grows, managing a complex supply chain across diverse markets while ensuring products are available when customers need them has become increasingly important. Previous processes provided limited visibility into demand and inventory optimization, making it harder to keep stock levels balanced.
With RELEX, JYSK will adopt a unified approach to demand planning and supply chain optimization. This will deliver improved delivery service through improved supplier cooperation and comprehensive visibility into order portfolios and future demand. The expanded implementation will enable JYSK to increase stock turnover through accurate order quantities and optimal purchase order destinations, while decreasing distribution center-to-distribution center movements through aggregated ordering capabilities.
“At JYSK, we maintain high standards across all our operations and aim to achieve excellence in demand planning globally,” said Heine Sort, Flow of Goods Director at JYSK International. “This expanded RELEX implementation will help us ensure we have the right goods ready at the right time in the right location when customers want to buy, whether online or in-store. The RELEX AI-driven platform will give us the scalability and advanced capabilities needed to optimize our supply chain.”
RELEX Diagnostics, enhanced with AI capabilities will further provide JYSK with actionable insights into supply chain inefficiencies, providing a data-driven approach to address stock imbalances. This will help JYSK ensure their supply chain remains agile and responsive to changing market conditions.
“We are proud to continue our work with JYSK and support their global operations,” said Jason Berry, Senior Vice President, EMEA, RELEX Solutions. “By adopting our end-to-end unified AI-based platform, JYSK will gain full visibility and control across supply chain. Their success with DC forecasting has already shown the value of our approach, and this broader implementation will unlock new efficiencies and drive profitable growth across all their markets.”
