RELEX Highlights Advancements in AI-Driven Retail Planning at NRF 2026

Jan 9, 2026 3 min

Explore how unified forecasting, inventory, pricing, and diagnostics help retailers increase availability, protect margin, and reduce waste

Retailers looking to increase availability, protect margin, and cut waste will see how RELEX’s unified planning platform supports those goals at the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) 2026 Retail’s Big Show.

From demand forecasting and inventory accuracy to pricing, promotions, and merchandising, RELEX helps retailers understand what is happening in their business, and why, so they can respond quickly and effectively.

At NRF 2026, RELEX will host a variety of interactive demonstrations in booth #5730, including the debut of its new Pricing & Promotions capabilities for deal management, expanded RELEX Diagnostics capabilities, and real-time store-level accuracy for inventory visibility through True Inventory.

Grocery retailers can explore fresh, center-store, and ultra-fresh planning use cases, while specialty and general merchandise retailers can see how RELEX supports forecasting, pricing, and inventory decisions at scale. Attendees can explore unified planning journeys across supply chain, merchandising, and store operations, meet the RELEX team, and see the technology in action.

Following the recent acquisition of Ida, a leading fresh store ordering and replenishment specialist, RELEX will also highlight how its unified platform now extends deeper into fresh and ultra-fresh categories, helping grocers reduce waste, improve availability, and support better in-store execution.

“Retailers need technology that improves planning accuracy, transparency, and execution, not complexity,” said Mikko Kärkkäinen, Co-founder and CEO of RELEX Solutions. “At NRF, we’re showing how practical AI across diagnostics, pricing, and demand forecasting fits together in one unified platform so retailers can improve availability, protect margin, and reduce waste with far less manual effort.”

RELEX will showcase key highlights during NRF 2026 including:

Big Ideas Session: Retailers can join RELEX Co-founder and CEO Mikko Kärkkäinen and Tractor Supply Company’s Glenn Allison for an in-depth discussion on the trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of retail. The session, “Scaling AI in Retail: Tractor Supply and RELEX on What’s Next” will take place Monday, January 12, from 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. on Stage 2.

Exclusive networking events: RELEX will also host two invitation-only gatherings designed to bring retail leaders together for deeper discussion and connection during NRF 2026. These executive sessions, held in partnership with PwC and Accenture, will explore market-shaping trends and the evolving collaboration models between retailers, suppliers, and technology partners.

Booth experience and live demos: Visitors can meet the RELEX team, explore live demos across forecasting, inventory accuracy, pricing and promotions, diagnostics, merchandising, and supplier collaboration, and see how RELEX’s unified platform supports faster, more confident retail decision-making. Demos will be available throughout the event at booth #5730.

RELAX with RELEX event: RELEX will host an exclusive networking event for retail and brand leaders on Sunday, January 11, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. at Versa Rooftop.

Partner Pavilion: Visitors can also meet RELEX’s strategic partners inside the booth throughout NRF 2026, including PwC, VusionGroup, RETSCI, Wysupp, infiniteVIU, and others supporting joint retail and supply chain initiatives.

Brazilian Delegations: RELEX will engage with leading Brazilian retail associations and tour groups, such as Gouvêa Experience, Varejo 180, and Varese, through curated NRF tours, networking sessions, and executive events.

Retailers across segments will find tailored discussions at the RELEX booth. Grocery leaders can explore fresh, center-store, and ultra-fresh planning informed by proven AI already live in production, while specialty and general merchandise retailers can see how RELEX supports forecasting, pricing, and inventory decisions at scale. With more than 200 customers already using AI, RELEX brings practical, real-world experience to retailers evaluating how to strengthen planning and execution.
