IAM Lead 
The Head of Enterprise Architecture at RELEX Business and Information Technology organization (BIT) Is looking to hire our next IAM Lead. As we continue developing our BIT organization at RELEX, we are looking for a Lead/Solution Architect for Identity and Access Management.

As our IAM Lead you will be defining IAM for RELEX, setting target architecture, designing, implementing, and managing the IAM framework to ensure secure and efficient access to systems, applications, and data. You will establish robust identity and access controls while aligning these measures with business needs and regulatory compliance requirements. You will be part of the IAM team and will be working with both operational and strategic directions in cooperation with specialists and stakeholders across RELEX.

Key responsibilities include:

  • IAM Solution Design: Design and architect IAM solutions that cater to the RELEX’s security requirements, scalability, and user experience. Develop and maintain IAM strategies, policies, and standards aligned with industry best practices.
  • Identity Lifecycle Management: Implement processes and systems for managing user identities, including provisioning, deprovisioning, authentication, and authorization. Define and enforce access control policies and roles to govern user permissions and privileges.
  • Access Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and internal policies related to identity management and access controls. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and rectify access-related risks and violations, as well as participate in our external security audits.
  • Technology Selection and Integration: Evaluate and select scalable IAM technologies, tools, and solutions.
  • IAM System Maintenance and Support: Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of IAM systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and incident response related to IAM systems and access issues.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, IT operations, application development, and business units, to understand IAM requirements and align solutions accordingly. Communicate IAM strategies, initiatives, and best practices to stakeholders at various levels within the organization through solution artifacts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in IAM architecture and development.
Key Skills, background and Qualifications include:
  • IT architecture or software development (hands-on experience)
  • Documenting and modelling IT Solutions
  • Ability to articulate effectively architectural solution descriptions, artefacts, guidelines, and recommendations.
  • Experience with IAM in the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g. Entra ID, Defender, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., SSO, LDAP, OAuth, SAML).
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing IAM solutions and related technologies (IAM suites, directory services, MFA, etc.).
  • Experience with IAM system administration, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards (such as GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.), and risk management principles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in security related areas such as security operations, architecture, development, governance, threat modeling, and auditing are beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage complex environments and proactively respond to challenges.
  • Solid work experience in an international environment.
  • Excellent skills both in written and spoken English.
  • University degree or equivalent (Bachelor as minimum).
