Join us as a Performance Engineer, and this is some of what you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and execute performance test strategies, plans, and scripts to assess the performance of our systems under various scenarios.
  • Analyse test results and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, areas for optimization, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Bring visibility to performance metrics and understand their effects on customers.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to implement performance enhancements and ensure the scalability and reliability of our applications.
  • Participating in performance infrastructure maintenance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing and quality assurance processes, tools, and methodologies.

We’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in performance engineering, with a strong focus on performance testing and analysis.
  • Proficiency in scripting and executing performance tests using tools such as JMeter.
  • Experience in Monitoring and Observatory tools and container technologies (such as Docker).
  • Good grasp of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), and web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language commonly used in performance testing, such as Java, Python, Perl, or .NET.
  • Understanding database management and querying (SQL for relational databases or specific query languages for NoSQL databases)
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies, quality assurance principles, and software development lifecycle.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

What we consider as an advantage:

  • Experience in using Gitlab, cloud technologies (such as Azure)
  • Front end Developer experience
  • Knowledge of test automation and hands-on experience with automation tools.
  • Creativity in exploratory testing and problem-solving.
