Join us as a Senior Test Automation Developer, and this is some of what you’ll be doing:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Robot Framework to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test automation strategies, identify test cases for automation, and implement efficient and effective automation solutions.
- Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline using GitLab CI/CD, ensuring timely execution, and reporting of test results.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing test automation frameworks and infrastructure to enhance test coverage, reliability, and maintainability.
- Mentor and coach junior members of the testing team, providing guidance on best practices, automation techniques, and tool usage.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure alignment with project goals and quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation, software testing methodologies, and tools, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our testing processes.
We’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in test automation development
- Proficiency in designing and implementing automated test scripts using Robot Framework, including keyword-driven and data-driven testing approaches.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab for version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment, including setting up pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Expertise in Python programming language, with the ability to develop custom test libraries, utilities, and extensions for Robot Framework.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, with experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and identify root causes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English communication skills.
