Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentación (DIA) is a discount supermarket chain. The supermarket has two types of stores, one aimed at neighborhoods in large cities and the other at smaller towns. It follows a policy of reducing prices by minimizing operating costs, such as: little store decoration and products are restricted to lower-priced brands, including private label.
