Saunders recognized as a ‘Rising Star’ by Food Logistics for her innovative work improving inclusion and access to nutritious foods for military families.
Food Logistics magazine has named Cley Saunders, Senior Development Manager, Global Project Delivery, RELEX, as one of the winners of this year’s Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award, which recognizes influential individuals in the industry whose achievements, hard work, and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain.
Saunders is honored as a Rising Star for her innovative work in improving inclusion and access to nutritious food for military families. She used data analysis to identify and address gaps in WIC-eligible items at grocery stores on military bases, ensuring reliable access to essentials. Additionally, she enhanced community access to healthy produce at another store by optimizing layouts and increasing availability, aligning with sustainability and health goals.
