This press release refers to a project implemented by Galleria RTS which was acquired by RELEX Solutions in June 2016.

Leading UK convenience store retailer with over 900 stores One Stop announce the Go-Live of Galleria’s solutions for macro space optimization, planogramming and master data & workflow management providing a best-in-class solution to support stores and franchise partners with category management advice.

A part of RELEX Solutions and the leading provider of end-to-end category planning, automation and optimization solutions and services to the retail industry, Galleria’s experience provides the foundation for next generation category optimization solutions with advanced planning, automation and optimization levels to support clients in their customer centric journey.

Working in strong partnership for over 15 years and with well-established success in store specific planogramming, utilizing Customer Centric Merchandising v7, the implementation of new solution modules forms the first phase of a wider initiative for system upgrades across range and space planning. This phase of new Galleria solutions provides One Stop with:

1. Intelligent Store Optimization
The optimization of store, department & category space in each store to meet customer demand and forecast the financial return on investment. Supporting store refit programs and empowering franchise partners with valuable information to support better decision making.

2. Customer Centric Merchandising (Version 8)
A move to Galleria’s advanced merchandising platform offering the ability to create and analyze planograms for any fixture types; from pegboards to freezer chests and with full 3D visualization.

3. Galleria Foundation Services
Providing the centralized category management hub for master data and workflow management, seamlessly connecting business processes, providing integration with upstream/downstream systems and bringing together all key stakeholders.

“With rapid expansion, it’s important for us to continuously remain close to our customers by understanding their needs,” said Mervin Nugent, Senior Range Planning, One Stop. “Galleria supports One Stop in achieving a tailored approach to range and space, better supporting stores and empowering our franchise partners with information to make better informed decisions.”

The next phase in the journey will see One Stop widen the end-to-end category management capability with the introduction of new solutions during 2016. A key element of this will be Galleria’s cloud planogramming solution available via mobile device, the new solution will provide franchise partners with the ability to amend assortment and space locally within each store, with category strategy set at head office to guide financially sound decision making.

“Localization lies at the heart of One Stop’s strategy and Galleria’s solutions alike,” said Ian Duncan-Lewis, CEO, Galleria. “We’re proud of our continued partnership as One Stop leverage this fantastic opportunity to adopt the latest in merchandising technology to keep a step ahead and provide the very best advice to stores and franchise partners.”
