Nov 25, 2021 2 min

Swedish full-scale e-tail pharmacy Apohem, part of the Axel Johnson Group, will partner with RELEX Solutions, provider of unified retail planning solutions, to automate their forecasting, replenishment, and promotion forecasting. The RELEX solution will service Apohem’s distribution center in Sweden, driving improved availability and customer satisfaction.

After an extensive selection process, Apohem chose to partner with RELEX as they have a proven solution for supporting extensive growth and increasing complexity in retail planning. The decision was also informed by RELEX’s reputation as a market leader among solution providers in the pharmaceuticals sector as well as strong references from other RELEX customers.

RELEX’s solution, which is powered by AI and machine learning, will automate and optimize Apohem’s replenishment processes. Apohem will also gain the ability to react proactively to changes in demand, accurately predict promotional uplifts, and follow up supply chain performance with advanced analytics.

“To support our future growth plans we need to ensure that all parts of the company scale quickly and with high quality,” says Gustav Hasselgren, CEO at Apohem. “With RELEX, we are looking forward to achieving a scalable, more efficient, automated planning process that will help us deliver high availability for our customers and at the same time reduce costs.”

“We are glad to welcome Apohem, a key player within the pharmaceuticals sector, to the growing RELEX family,” says Joakim Hellman, Account Executive at RELEX Solutions. “We will make every use of the power of our solution, and draw on the good collaboration between our teams, to make sure that Apohem quickly gets all the benefits we both expect.”
