Oriola Selects RELEX to Improve Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Distribution

Nordic pharmaceutical distributor to implement AI-driven forecasting and replenishment to improve product availability and operational efficiency 

Oriola, a Finnish health and wellbeing company operating in the Nordics, has selected RELEX Solutions to optimize their wholesale distribution operations with advanced forecasting, replenishment and RELEX Diagnostics capabilities. This will enable Oriola to optimize customer-channel forecasting and distribution center (DC) replenishment across its entire logistics and distribution network.

Oriola offers distribution, wholesale, and advisory services that help pharmaceutical companies and health product suppliers reach pharmacies, healthcare providers, veterinarians, retailers, and e-commerce customers, primarily in Finland and Sweden. 

Oriola is continuously seeking ways to enhance its ways of working and wanted to achieve a step-change in end-to-end supply chain planning to better meet evolving operating environment and customer requirements. To support this transformation, the company selected RELEX for its scalability, comprehensive end-to-end planning capabilities, and flexibility to enable future expansion.

By further automating the replenishment process, they will reduce time spent on manual tasks, freeing teams to focus on more strategic work and enabling profitable growth.  

Oriola will also leverage RELEX Diagnostics to have clear insight into the root cause of stockouts at their distribution centers. This will allow them to quickly identify and address supply chain bottlenecks, to ensure better product availability. By using this, Oriola can improve decision making and drive continuous improvements in their inventory and replenishment processes.
