porta selects RELEX Solutions to Provide Automated and Integrated Supply Chain Management

porta group, one of the largest family-owned omnichannel furniture retailers in Germany, will partner with RELEX Solutions, provider of unified retail planning solutions, to automate and integrate their supply chain planning. RELEX will establish an end-to-end forecasting and replenishment planning process across porta’s omnichannel supply chain, servicing five distribution centers, 28 porta stores in Germany, and 140 stores under the SB-Möbel BOSS brand in Germany and ASKO brand in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as the brands’ corresponding online stores.

The furniture retailer, which has an annual turnover of €1.33B (approx. $1.5B), will use RELEX’s forecasting and replenishment solution to manage their full assortment, which includes up to 30,000 SKUs per store and channel. Using their industry-leading AI-based technology, RELEX will automate porta’s replenishment processes, improving efficiency, reducing inventory levels, and lowering the costs of handling, storage, and transport. This will also increase product availability, ultimately strengthening customer satisfaction and driving higher sales for porta. porta also appreciated RELEX’s ability to create a digital twin to model their entire range of retail planning requirements.
