Strengthens presence in major European market and prepares for Latin America expansion
RELEX Solutions, the unified retail planning solution provider, has shown its confidence in its Spanish distribution partner, Forecast Solutions, by acquiring it, a move that is expected to boost significantly their combined presence and investment in the Spanish market.
RELEX has worked with Forecast Solutions, a specialist in demand and supply chain planning, since it became RELEX’s Spanish distributor in Spring 2016, and have together closed a number of key deals in Spain. As a result of the acquisition, Forecast Solutions’ Barcelona headquarters will now become the foundation of RELEX’s 11th international office.

By adding RELEX’s technology and global resources to the Barcelona team’s local supply chain expertise, the retail planning and space optimization company is strongly placed to explore the considerable appetite of Spanish retailers for forecasting, replenishment, space and assortment solutions that will help them raise levels of customer service while cutting inventory and waste.
RELEX’s expansion across Europe and North America has been driven by strong results and customer recommendations and the Helsinki, Finland-based company believes those will find a receptive audience in Spain.
Forecast Solutions also offers a bridgehead into the Latin American market, a region where it already has customers.
