RELEX Solutions Supports Sodebo in the Optimization of its Supply Chain

RELEX, a global provider of unified solutions for supply chain and retail planning, announces the implementation of its platform at Sodebo, a specialist in fresh catering in France. This partnership reinforces Sodebo’s strategy, which is committed to a process of continuous improvement of sales forecasting for the manufacture and distribution of its fresh products. Thanks to RELEX’s expertise in managing the specificities of the food and beverage sector, the company will be able to further refine its planning processes.

The project covers all of Sodebo’s ranges: fresh pizzas, sandwiches, salads and boxes, all manufactured and shipped from the company’s historic Vendée site. The objective is to improve the distribution of its products throughout the national territory thanks to even more accurate and localized forecasting models.

To offer its solutions, RELEX relies on technology based on artificial intelligence and automation, reducing manual adjustments while increasing the granularity of forecasts. For example, forecasters will be able to refine plans based on precise and sensitive external factors such as local weather data.
