One Stop Stores will present how RELEX’s innovative technology supports its customer-centric strategy.
RELEX, a leading provider of integrated retail and supply chain planning solutions, brings together all aspects of retail planning through the continuous analysis of real-time data, from the shop floor all the way back up through the supply chain driving increased sales, less inventory and reduced spoilage.
At RBTE, RELEX will showcase its cloud-based collaborative planogram solution for localized in-store planning, stock allocation and planograms. Launched in January, the solution is an industry first and enables:
Effective collaboration with vendors
The solution allows retailers and vendors to simultaneously view and manipulate planograms at any time, on any device, from anywhere around the world for improved store and sales performance and better forecasting and demand planning. Planograms can now be viewed in 3D and edited in real-time, removing the need for planograms and PDFs to be sent back and forth between stakeholders, further accelerating the approval and publishing process.
Two-way communication between headquarters and stores
The fully collaborative planogram editor also allows a store manager to view proposed planograms created by a centralized planning team. It enables users to request local range changes in line with local customer demographics and local sales data, and run what-if-scenarios as simply as a drag and drop. Real-time product performance and intelligent validation helps guide in-store users to make better informed decisions around range changes, increasing category and store performance and improving the customer experience.
A new feedback and compliance feature also assists retailers in ensuring their stores are fully compliant and that potential issues – such as missing products and wrong number of facings – are flagged before becoming a problem.
One Stop Stores
Having recognized the potential of the RELEX solution to bring its in-store assortment closer to local customer need, One Stop Stores, leading UK convenience store retailer with 850 stores, and a subsidiary of Tesco, worked alongside RELEX in the design and development of the planogram collaboration portal. Mervin Nugent, senior space/range and systems manager, is speaking at RBTE on Monday, May 8th, 12.35pm – 1.05pm on the topic: Local & Convenient – How space optimization technology supports One Stop’s customer centric strategy.
Having one of our long-standing customers speak at RBTE is testament to the relationships we build with all of our clients
Ian Duncan-Lewis, RELEX’s UK Managing Director comments: “Having one of our long-standing customers speak at RBTE is testament to the relationships we build with all of our clients. We’re looking forward to demonstrating to delegates how we continue to be at the forefront of innovation. Ultimately, our technology is helping retailers automate and optimize assortment, replenishment and space planning enabling stores to spend more time shaping the customer experience.”
