Berggård Amundsen to Optimize Forecasting and Replenishment Processes with RELEX Solutions

Berggård Amundsen & Co AS an independent, Norwegian electrical wholesaler, has chosen RELEX Solutions, provider of unified retail planning solutions, to optimize forecasting and replenishment. RELEX will serve Berggård Amundsen’s 27 stores and one distribution center (DC) in Norway, driving improved availability, an increased level of automation and optimized retail and supply chain processes.

Founded in 1946, Berggård Amundsen emphasizes local presence and proximity to customers. By optimizing their supply chain processes, RELEX will support both the Berggård Amundsen’s modern and future-oriented central warehouse in Langhus, and the ProffPunkt locations.

RELEX will automate Berggård Amundsen’s manual processes to increase supply chain efficiency and visibility, allowing the company’s planners to make better use of data and improve decision-making. Berggård Amundsen also seeks to support its stores in maintaining optimal product availability tailored to their specific assortments. The goal is to establish best practices for demand planning and replenishment, emphasizing the positive impact of centralized planning on overall efficiency. Moreover, Berggård Amundsen is looking to utilize RELEX forecasting and replenishment capabilities to strategically reduce inventory and waste throughout its end-to-end supply chain, addressing both financial targets and sustainability goals. This approach aligns with the company’s commitment to efficiency, customer satisfaction, and responsible supply chain management.
