K Group’s Building and Technical Trade Division Expands RELEX Partnership to their Swedish Operations

May 4, 2022 2 min

K Group’s Building and Technical Trade Division, a leading operator in Northern European building and technical trade with operations in eight countries, today announced the expansion of their partnership with RELEX Solutions, provider of unified retail planning solutions. For 15 years, RELEX has provided K Group’s Building and Technical Trade Division with forecasting and replenishment for their hundreds of stores and distribution centers. K Group will expand their use of RELEX in their K-Bygg banner, the Swedish operations they acquired a few years ago. The implementation will service one distribution center and 36 stores.

Until this point, K-Bygg stores have relied on a standard ERP to manage store forecasting and replenishment. K Group wants to bring RELEX’s proven unified planning capabilities to the new banner, harmonizing and automating processes across their entire group. The project will kick off immediately, with automated replenishment scheduled to go live in fall of 2022.

“For 15 years, we’ve had a successful and long-standing collaboration with RELEX—and we look forward to many more,” says Maria Andersson, Commerce and Supply Chain Director at K Group’s Building and Technical Trade Division in Sweden. “We’re excited to expand the use of the RELEX Living Retail Platform at K Group because the solution provides us with the latest AI-driven technology, ultimately improving efficiency and availability, and enabling us to provide a better experience for our customers.”

“We are proud of our strong cooperative partnership with K Group’s Building and Technical Trade Division, and we’re excited to expand and strengthen it even further,” says Ida Myran, VP EMEA North at RELEX Solutions. “Our collaboration with K Group is a perfect example of the partnerships we strive to build with all our customers.”
