Kronans Apotek, the third-largest pharmacy chain in Sweden offering products in health, beauty, and prescription, has selected RELEX Solutions, provider of unified supply chain and retail planning solutions, to optimize their forecasting and replenishment, as well as promotion planning. RELEX will service Kronans Apotek’s 500+ stores throughout Sweden, driving increased sales, reduced costs, and better control over their promotional campaigns.
Before selecting RELEX, Kronans Apotek was using a legacy system for their forecasting and replenishment processes. When Kronans Apotek merged with RELEX’s existing customer Apoteksgruppen, they had to choose one of the systems for forecasting and replenishment. The functionality RELEX already offered Apoteksgruppen made RELEX the obvious choice for the new joint company. Additionally, by including promotion planning capabilities, they will be able to evaluate, plan, optimize, and execute their planned promotions all in one system.
