Maag Food has expanded the use of RELEX Solutions with AI-driven demand planning and promotion forecasting capabilities across its dairy operations. Building on the successful implementation at the Maag Food meat division, they aim to improve the planning processes of their dairy business by increasing accuracy and ensuring greater alignment across its business units. This will be supported by RELEX parter, re:innovation, who brings deep expertise in integrated supply chains.

The dairy business of Maag Food comprises the Estonian brands Tere, Farmi, and Deary, which produce over 400 products, including traditional dairy milk and plant-based alternatives. Processing up to 400 tons of milk daily, they supply this to domestic and export markets under strict quality standards. Previously relying on manual processes, Maag Food is implementing RELEX to align operations with the wider Maag Food organization, automating and unifying forecasting processes across its dairy operations to reduce manual work and improve decision-making accuracy.
“Following the improvements we have achieved with RELEX at the meat business of Maag Food, we are confident that extending the solution to our dairy business will help us continue to raise our standards,” said Martin Küüsmaa, Management Board Member and Director of Business Development, Planning, Quality and Environment, Maag Food. “Our goal is to harmonize planning across the group, move toward touchless forecasting, and improve collaboration between production and sales teams.”
Maag Food will be able to introduce data-driven, proactive decision-making to support long-term business goals. By embedding advanced ML-forecasting intelligence into daily operations, they can better balance production, reduce spoilage, and adapt quickly to shifts in consumer preferences, whether it be traditional dairy or plant-based alternatives. Additionally, aligning supply chain processes across Maag Food’s dairy and meat businesses will enable streamlined operations, consistent planning practices, and a unified approach to serving their many export markets.
“We are proud to support Maag Food’s continued digital transformation journey across their companies,” said Bogdan Gross, Managing Partner, re:innovation. “Our collaboration with RELEX ensures Maag Food gains a solution that is not only technologically advanced but fully aligned with their operational realities. Together, we will help them build a more connected, intelligent, and resilient planning ecosystem.”
“We are impressed by Maag Food’s forward-thinking approach to implementing AI-powered tools to strengthen their market-leading position,” said Stefano Scandelli, General Manager, Manufacturing Business Unit, RELEX Solutions. “The group demonstrates exceptionally high standards in project management and has been an excellent partner to work with. We are excited to extend our successful collaboration to the dairy side of Maag Food, supporting their journey toward unified, intelligent supply chain planning across their diverse product portfolio.”
