RELEX Solutions, a leading provider of integrated retail and supply chain planning solutions worldwide, today announced that Michael Falck, President of RELEX Solutions U.S., was named a 2017 Provider Pro to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

Mr. Falck, a respected authority on retail supply chain planning, started out in science-based, supply chain research at Helsinki University of Technology, the European university that pioneered postgraduate research in the field. His research was focused on developing models for forecasting promotional demand in grocery retail. While still in his twenties, he co-founded RELEX Solutions and since then has worked extensively with leading retailers across Europe and North America.

I’m honored to receive this recognition from Supply & Demand Chain Executive. At RELEX, we normally let our customers have the spotlight for the awards we win together.

“I’m honored to receive this recognition from Supply & Demand Chain Executive,” said Falck. “At RELEX, we normally let our customers have the spotlight for the awards we win together. After all, our success as a technology company is built on their success. The strength of our relationships and the impressive results our solutions deliver means that all of our customers are referenceable.”

“At RELEX, we find many of today’s retailers focused on becoming more customer centric while at the same time reducing inventory and improving availability. There are huge opportunities for companies that embrace these challenges and our leading-edge solution offers them precise demand forecasting, automated replenishment, revolutionary space planning, and assortment optimization that help them to plan better, sell more and waste less.”

The annual Supply & Demand Chain Executive Provider Pros to Know Awards recognize individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia who have helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community at large prepare to meet the significant challenges of today’s business climate.
