OG Elektra AS, the Estonian retail and food production company operating the Grossi Toidukaubad grocery chain, has selected RELEX Solutions to automate with AI-driven forecasting and replenishment across its store network and distribution center. RELEX partner, re:innovation will provide implementation services.

Founded in the early 1990s, OG Elektra operates around 90 Grossi Toidukaubad grocery stores across Estonia, supported by a centralized logistics center and their own food production site. They manage an end-to-end value chain, from manufacturing to retail, enabling strong local sourcing, consistent quality, and competitive pricing. As they continued to expand, manual store ordering and disconnected planning processes have made it harder to maintain efficiency and consistent availability across locations.
OG Elektra will move from fully manual store ordering to centralized, automated forecasting and replenishment. The RELEX platform will provide store-level forecasts, improve coordination between the distribution center and stores, and account for product characteristics such as shelf life and demand variability. This will help OG Elektra increase availability, reduce spoilage, lower handling costs, and improve inventory management across its network.
“OG Elektra has always focused on delivering quality products at competitive prices through strong control of our value chain,” said Gea Gross, Retail Strategy and Development Lead, OG Elektra. “As we continue to grow, we need planning processes that support that growth. With RELEX, we can automate ordering, improve availability, and manage our operations more efficiently across the value chain.”
“OG Elektra’s integrated value chain creates real planning complexity that a generic solution simply cannot address,” said Bodgan Gross, CEO & Founder, re:innovation. “Working with RELEX, we are bringing automation and forecasting precision to every layer of that chain, so OG Elektra’s teams can focus on running great stores rather than managing ordering manually.”
“Estonia has a competitive grocery market, and with Grossi Toidukaubad, OG Elektra has built a strong position in it,” said Jason Berry, SVP, EMEA, RELEX Solutions. “With RELEX, they will be able to take the friction out of daily replenishment decisions and put better availability and inventory control within reach across every store.”
