RELEX and UK regional supermarket chain Booths awarded 3 times with ‘IT Team of the Year’, ‘Supply Chain Solution of the Year’ and, most recently, the ‘Technology of the Year’ for innovative retail supply chain project.
RELEX Solutions, Europe’s fastest growing supply chain solution provider, has just won its third award with its customer Booths, a leading regional supermarket in the UK. The three awards include ‘IT Team of the Year’ at the Retail Week’s Tech & Ecomm Awards, Retail Systems’ ‘Supply Chain Solution of the Year’ and, most recently, the ‘Technology of the Year’ award in the European Supply Chain Awards.
All three awards recognised the considerable success RELEX and Booths have had in transforming replenishment in its 31 supermarkets across NW England. Achieving wins across reputable awards shows that both industry experts and RELEX’s customers are impressed by the impact its solution is having on supply chain management as well as changes to the business as a whole. In addition, RELEX demonstrated that it is presenting new ways of handling the supply chain and opening new possibilities for its customers and the industry.
In June, RELEX and Booths achieved their first win of the year in the BT Retail Week Tech and Ecomm Awards as ‘IT Team of the Year’. Booths operates a complex and varying supply chain and having formed a joint project team with RELEX, overhauled its supply chain management systems and upgraded its operations. Booths also transformed its supply chain team, turning it into a professionalised business analysis unit with expanded responsibilities and valued opinions.
In its most recent win, the European Supply Chain Awards recognise the direct and quantifiable benefit RELEX’s technology is having on Booths’ supply chain through an overall transformation of management and forecasting. The solution was rolled out across all Booths stores and product lines in just six months reducing spoilage by 10-20%.
Similarly, the Retail System Awards highlighted RELEX’s commitment to overall added business value and improved visibility in Booths’ supply chain. This enabled them to make better business decisions and exhibits RELEX’s commitment to supporting and satisfying its customers’ business aims.
