RELEX Solutions aims to provide technology and expertise to Indonesian retailers through partnership with local IT-based solution company

Apr 6, 2023 3 min

RELEX Solutions, a leading provider of unified retail planning solutions, today announced their partnership with an Indonesian IT-based business solution company, SOLTIUS. Through this strategic partnership, RELEX Solutions aims to provide supply chain, demand planning, operations, and merchandising expertise for various Indonesian retailers, including grocery stores, convenience stores, pharmacies, and general merchandise businesses. This partnership will support these and other companies as they tap into the massive growth potential of the industry.

Onni Rautio, Sales Director at RELEX Solutions explained, “Indonesia’s retail market continues to be exciting, with its rapid growth and the growing demand for supply chain analytics and planning solutions. As Indonesian retailers swiftly embrace automated solutions to transform the way they operate, we are excited to offer our expertise to the market, to ultimately support their growth.”

The Indonesian retail market is expected to grow by US$ 37.3 billion during 2021-2025, with a CAGR of 4%. At the same time, there is a growing need for supply chain and product analytic solutions, which saw a strong growth of 31.2% YoY in the country. This is in line with the rise of omnichannel, with 64% of Indonesians using omnichannel platforms to shop.

Indonesian retailers are trying to catch up with consumers’ demand by implementing technology. However, the vast majority of the technologies implemented are still siloed, leaving gaps in their usefulness. Understanding this gap, RELEX Solutions offers unified solutions and technology, combined with insights, to answer Indonesian retailers’ growing challenges and help them drive profitable growth.

With almost two decades of experience in helping retailers and consumer goods brands globally, RELEX Solutions provides the technology that optimizes retailers’ demand, supply chain, and operations planning, as well as maximizing customer satisfaction, and reducing operating costs.

The solutions’ AI-powered capabilities enable users to streamline a vast number of recurring planning tasks – from demand forecasting to inventory optimization – thereby allowing retailers and consumer goods brands  to make faster decisions and reduce disruptions. Moreover, RELEX Solutions offers the technology for merchandising, which includes promotional planning and pricing optimization, providing an end-to-end solution. The platform also allows for better agility and visibility, which removes silos and empowers users to continuously innovate at low cost and low effort, all through one single platform.

SOLTIUS is a leading, local IT-based solution service company that provides end-to-end solutions in supply chain management, analytics and big data, procurement, and more. Partnering with SOLTIUS, allows RELEX Solutions to combine their cutting-edge technology, market-leading solutions, and global experiences with the local expertise that SOLTIUS offers.

Commenting on the partnership, Andreas Suryadi Gunadi, President Director of Soltius Indonesia said, “We’re glad to partner with RELEX Solutions to be able to provide unified retail planning solutions for Indonesian businesses. This partnership will allow us to meet customers’ increasing demand for supply chain analytics and planning solutions and assist our customers in achieving their growth objectives.”

Onni Rautio added, “At RELEX Solutions, we believe in providing the right technology to help companies hone a competitive edge and drive growth. The partnership with SOLTIUS is a step toward that direction as we support Indonesian retailers in reaching their goals. We look forward to fostering this partnership, along with other partnerships across the region, with the objective of providing the unified solutions that RELEX Solutions has to a more extensive network of users.”
