Middle East FMCG distributor to reduce spoilage and improve service levels through advanced forecasting and replenishment

Abudawood, a leading FMCG brand partner connecting retailers in the Middle East with global manufacturers, has selected RELEX Solutions to upgrade its Sales & Distribution forecasting and replenishment operations. With RELEX, Abudawood aims to reduce spoilage, improve service performance across its three distribution centers, and support long-term growth.

Abudawood manages more than 1,500 SKUs across a broad sales & distribution network. As demand patterns shift and retailers expect greater accuracy, the company needed to improve inventory precision. Strengthening service performance and reducing waste were key priorities in the decision to adopt forecasting and replenishment capabilities from RELEX.

“As our business grows, we need planning tools that keep our teams aligned and help us stay responsive to our partners,” said Abdullah AbuSido, Director of Business Applications at Abudawood. “RELEX gives us the accuracy and transparency we’ve been looking for, reducing waste while simplifying day-to-day work, through a platform that can scale and grow with us.”

RELEX’s growing presence in the MENAT region reflects rising demand among distributors and consumer goods organizations for AI-enabled planning that improves accuracy and supports more reliable, efficient operations.

“Abudawood plays a critical role in connecting global manufacturers/suppliers with retailers across the Middle East,” said Frank Lord, Chief Revenue Officer at RELEX Solutions. “Our platform will help them improve accuracy, simplify daily planning, and respond faster to market needs. We look forward to supporting their growth in a dynamic and competitive region.”
