By winning the category “Best Enterprise Solution”, Europris demonstrates increased efficiency in its supply chain with RELEX Solutions.
On Monday 6th March evening Europris and RELEX proudly received the award “Best Enterprise Solution” during the retail technology awards Europe (reta) 2017 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Forty international companies competed, and by winning, Europris and RELEX are following the footsteps of companies like Lidl, Zalando and Douglas.
As part of the EuroShop trade fair, the reta Europe Awards is an annual international award that recognises retail companies for their implementation of outstanding and innovative technology solutions in retail. Behind the awards stands the well-known EHI Retail Institute with more than 750 European members, consisting of international retail companies and their associations, manufacturers of consumer and capital goods, and various service providers. By winning the category “Best Enterprise Solution”, Europris demonstrates increased efficiency in its supply chain through the implementation of an innovative system, namely RELEX Solutions.
This award is the third in line, after being named “Technology Team of the Year” by the Retail Systems Awards and becoming the winner of the category “Supply Chain Visibility” during the Supply Chain Excellence Awards, both taking place in London a few months earlier.
Pål Wibe, CEO Europris comments: “We are humble and proud to have won yet another award with the joint Europris-RELEX team. Our joint solution is an important tool in achieving further cost and capital efficiency for us, as well as improving product service levels to our customers.”
The project has brought RELEX planning power to more than 230 Europris stores, resulting in a strong reduction in store inventories for like-for-like products and shelf availability rising significantly. Based on the RELEX functionality, Europris is now in a position to build durable routines within the organisation, improve planning ability, and make the company better prepared for the supply chain challenges attached to their future growth.
“These results and awards only show the beginning of the journey RELEX and Europris have started together”, Wibe continues. “In addition to implementing RELEX to our whole assortment, the next stages will be to add even more functionality into our system, which will optimise our supply chain throughout the entire company.”

Fred Graham, Country Manager RELEX Norway, is thrilled about the latest award: “Europris and RELEX have been working together for two years now, and it is fun to see that the success we experience in our partnership is acknowledged by such professionals as the juries behind these awards. Many goals have been achieved, and I am confident that our work together will give fantastic results over the years to come.”
