RELEX and Europris have been recognised, yet again, for a project that transformed the supply chain at Norway’s largest discount variety retailer.
On Monday night the Supply Chain Excellence Awards named the joint RELEX/Europris team as a winner in its supply chain visibility category at a ceremony at the Hilton Hotel on London’s Park Lane.
RELEX and Europris also scored a Highly Commended for their submission for the ‘CEVA Logistics award for Retail and E-Tail’.
The award comes just days after Retail Systems named RELEX and Europris winners in its ‘Technology Team of the Year 2016’ category at another ceremony in London.
The project, which brought RELEX planning power to more than 230 Europris stores across Norway was completed in March this year and cut inventory by almost a fifth, more than halved out-of-stock days and pushed availability to over 97% (an increase of 5ppt).
This latest award has left us even more motivated, and we’ll continue RELEX’s roll-out across the rest of Europris’s assortment with even more energy.

It’s the second year running RELEX has been honoured by both Retail Systems and the Supply Chain Excellence Awards. Together with another customer, Booths, the UK’s leading regional supermarket, RELEX was named Supply Chain Solution of the Year 2015 by Retail Systems and Technology of the Year 2015 by the European Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
