Optimera Improves Supply Chain Insights with AI-Assisted Diagnostics from RELEX

Optimera Svenska AB, one of the Nordic region’s leading distributors and retailers of building materials, is now utilizing AI-Assisted Diagnostics from RELEX Solutions. The new capability leverages AI agents and next-generation generative AI to pinpoint the root causes of stockouts and other supply chain issues, to deliver actionable recommendations that resolve issues faster, minimize lost sales, and boost productivity.

Optimera operates 65 stores and six distribution centers across Sweden, managing an assortment of over 300,000 SKUs for professional builders and contractors. A long-term RELEX customer since 2019, Optimera already uses forecasting and replenishment from RELEX to manage their complex supply network.
As one of the first companies to use RELEX’s AI-Assisted Diagnostics, Optimera continues to lead the way in adopting cutting-edge solutions that enhance supply chain performance. After successfully adopting RELEX Diagnostics in 2024 to understand the root causes of stockouts, Optimera has now taken the next step by implementing AI-Assisted Diagnostics to further automate analysis and accelerate decision-making. This enables their teams to turn insights into action even faster, driving continuous improvement across their operations.

By doing this, Optimera can tackle issues before they escalate and increase productivity by simplifying insight into action.
