Stokke Selects RELEX Solutions to Optimize Its DC Forecasting and Replenishment

Nov 24, 2020 2 min

Stokke, a Norwegian manufacturer and distributor of premium children’s furniture, equipment, and accessories, is partnering with RELEX Solutions to optimize and automate its DC forecasting and replenishment processes. RELEX will support the company’s 13 distribution centers globally to achieve lower inventory value without risking availability.

Previously, Stokke, which is recognized worldwide for its high-quality, best-in-class children’s products, used a planning tool that required a great deal of manual intervention and lacked much of the functionality needed to efficiently manage inventory. To improve processes and support their ambitious growth plans, the company sought a more powerful, reliable planning tool. Stokke wanted a flexible, scalable solution with a future-proof development roadmap. They ultimately selected RELEX for these reasons and for its versatile and powerful forecasting capabilities.

“RELEX has a very strong reputation, and for good reason. RELEX not only provides us with a flexible solution, but their team also provided fantastic support throughout a remarkably smooth implementation period,” says Florian Kobes, Supply Chain Manager at Stokke. “RELEX’s AI-driven forecasting solution is integral to our ability to reduce inventory levels, increase availability, and efficiently manage new product introductions, which are a big part of our business.”

Mikko Hartikainen, Senior Solution Consultant at RELEX Solutions, is pleased about the partnership. “Stokke is a well-known brand with an interesting and complex value chain set-up. They quickly saw the benefits of RELEX and were impressed by our continuous investment in research and development,” he comments. “Stokke’s team is highly competent, and it’s great working with them to solve their challenges and share expertise across our teams. We are excited to see the results we will achieve together.”
