Valeo Foods Group, a leading international food business has selected RELEX Solutions to support their manufacturing operations with end-to-end supply chain planning in the UK, Italy and Central Eastern Europe. Valeo Foods Group will use the RELEX AI-driven platform for demand planning and sensing, master planning, distribution planning, production scheduling, and trade promotions planning. Supply Chain Company, a RELEX partner with food and beverage sector expertise, will support the project with implementation services.

Valeo Foods Group specialises in producing high-quality sweet treats across the sweet bakery, confectionery, and naturally sweet categories. Valeo produces a broad portfolio of brands including Balconi, Barratt, Pedro, Horalky, Lina, Mila, and Rowse Honey, alongside a high-quality private label proposition in selected categories. With production and distribution spanning multiple well-known brands, Valeo needed a single, standardized way to plan from demand through to the factory floor.

RELEX will give Valeo Foods Group one connected plan linking demand directly to production lines across the business. Valeo Foods Group expects to improve planning accuracy, reduce inventory levels, and maintain service levels while automating repetitive manual work.

“As we continue to grow, we require a technology partner that scales with us and gives every part of our business a consistent, standardized way of working,” said Matt Nicholas, Group Transformation Director, Valeo Foods Group. “End-to-end planning means fewer surprises and better decisions, giving us the foundation to plan with more confidence as we expand.”

“Valeo Foods Group has built a portfolio of brands people genuinely love, and growth at that scale demands planning that can keep pace,” said Stefano Scandelli, Managing Director, Manufacturing Business Unit, RELEX Solutions. “We are proud to bring our food and beverage manufacturing experience to this partnership. The time we spent understanding their business shows how well our approach fits the way they work.”

“Food manufacturing comes with its own complexities including promotional cycles and multi-brand complexity,” said Henk Jan Rijkse, CEO, Supply Chain Company. ” With this project, we look to simplify those complexities and add value. We are focused on making sure RELEX is implemented in a way that holds up against the realities of Valeo’s production lines.”
