GEPP to Unify End-to-End Supply Chain Planning with RELEX

Apr 14, 2026 2 min

Mexico’s leading beverage distribution company to transform demand, supply, and production planning across 300 distribution centers with AI-driven RELEX platform

GEPP, Mexico’s leading bottling and beverage distribution company, has selected RELEX Solutions, together with GOLDCO its strategic partner in Latin America, to unify its supply chain operations. With the RELEX enterprise AI platform, GEPP will strengthen service, efficiency, and resilience across its network by integrating ML demand forecasting, distribution, supply, and master planning, and production scheduling. GOLDCO will provide implementation strategy and local support, combining RELEX technology with regional expertise to ensure fast, scalable results.

GEPP is the only beverage company in Mexico that manufactures, distributes, and markets carbonated and non-carbonated beverages as well as water jugs nationwide. Formed in 2011 as a joint venture between Organización Cultiba, Empresas Polar, and PepsiCo, GEPP serves millions of consumers through a portfolio of more than 25 brands, including epura, Gatorade, Lipton, Pepsi, and 7UP, and operates as the exclusive bottler for PepsiCo in Mexico.

Previously reliant on legacy systems, GEPP needed to connect Sales and Operations Planning with daily execution. The RELEX unified platform allows for a single demand and service strategy to drive both commercial and operational decisions. RELEX forecasting and replenishment capabilities translate merchandising priorities, such as service levels, strategic SKUs, and promotional windows, into daily replenishment actions. The system’s closed feedback loop automatically identifies exceptions or stock risks and triggers cross-functional responses, keeping execution aligned with strategy.

This end-to-end project begins with demand and distribution planning, creating a foundation for an adaptive supply chain across Mexico. Moving to Relex’s automated planning will increase forecast accuracy, improve visibility across all 300 distribution centers, and ensure product availability to all GEPP customers.

“GEPP’s transformation represents the next step in supply chain orchestration,” said Stefano Scandelli, General Manager, Manufacturing at RELEX Solutions. “By uniting commercial planning with daily execution, GEPP ensures every business decision is operationally feasible and every operational action supports their long-term strategy. That alignment is the hallmark of a truly end-to-end supply chain.”

“GEPP is taking a decisive step toward digitalizing its supply chain, and GOLDCO is proud to be at the center of that transformation. By replacing legacy systems with an AI-driven planning platform, we’re helping GEPP move from manual processes to connected, data-driven decision-making across their entire network.” Said Jorge Sánchez, Acting Partner at GOLDCO.

“GOLDCO brings a proven implementation methodology shaped by years of deploying planning systems across manufacturing and distribution in Latin America. Combined with our adoption best practices, we’re confident this project will deliver the operational impact GEPP is looking for.” Said Salatiel Salinas, Project Director at GOLDCO.
